
Benefits of Kurma Fruits For The Health Of The Human Body
In this world who does not know kurma fruit? This fruit is well known by audiences, especially for the Arabian peninsula where the fruit is commonly found, and generally for Muslims around the world, including in Indonesia. This fruit has a special value and occupies a high position in the religion of Islam. The kurma palms are the great blessings which Allah bestowed upon mankind from some of His blessings, and only those who are willing to think and begin to realize that this fruit belongs to some of the fruits Allah mentioned in the Qur'an, Allah says:
ينبت لكم به الزرع و الزيتون و النخيل و الأعناب, إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يتفكرون
Meaning: 'He cultivates for you with the rainwater it crops; olives, kurma, grapes, and all kinds of fruits. Verily in that is a sign for the people who think "(Surat an-Nahl: 11).
This fruit is often mentioned in Allah al-Qur'an, more than 20 verses of Allah mentioned in the Qur'an, and certainly not without cause Allah often mention this fruit in al-Qur'an, because in al-Qur'an surat ar- ra'd verse 4 Allah says:
و في الأرض قطع متجاورات من أعناب و زرع و نخيل صنوان و غير صنوان يسقى بمآء واحد و يفضل بعضها على بعض في الأكل, إن في ذلك لأيات لقوم يعقلون
Meaning: 'And on this earth, there are adjoining parts, and vineyards, branched and unbranched plants and palm trees, doused with the same water. We partially plant the plants over some others about the taste. Verily in that are Signs for those who think'. (Surah Ar-Ra'd: 4).
From the above verse, it must have been very clear that the kurma palm is one of the plants that Allah extends from other plants. At the end of the verse is also a phrase 'for people who think', this becomes a gesture of God for human thinking, explore and find out the benefits and efficacy of what is on the kurma palm.
The benefits of kurma fruit:
- Kurma palms provide a nerve relaxation effect. this happens because this fruit contains Vitamins A and B1 that can strengthen the nerves. It also contains phosphorus which is a nutrient for nerve cells in the brain.
- Benefits of kurma for energy sources. Kurma have energy for the body so that the fruit is often used as a meal iftar, at the end of fasting day (before breaking), the immediate need of glucose into the body will have many benefits, and kurma are fruits that contain enough glucose and can provide much energy after a day of fasting.
- The content of vitamin A in kurma fruit has the benefits of eye health, sharpen and maintain eye moisture, for skin health and protect from lung cancer and oral cancer.
- Regular consumption of kurma can streamline the body because of low-fat content.
- The benefits of kurma as an antidote to poison. By eating 7 kurma every day can fight toxins because kurma has vitokimia content and have antioxidant substances.
- Kurma palms include bone-strengthening, teeth, and sex because they contain phosphorus and calcium.
- Kurma palms include less blood (anemia) because they contain high levels of minerals.
- The immersion of the kurma palms facilitates urination, as a reaction to the candied work (sweetmeats) contained therein.
- Kurma palms strengthen the hearing nerves, especially for the elderly.
- Kurma palm fruit is a painkiller drug because it contains sillilose fiber that helps the movement of the intestines round. while the laxatives destroy the intestinal mucous membrane because it produces a forced artificial movement. besides, the use of chemical drugs make the remaining food last longer in the colon, so it often causes infection of the colon (colitis).
- Kurma can be a cure for liver disease, jaundice, sprue, chapped lips, dry skin, and cracked nails because they contain B vitamins.
- Kurma palms can be used to treat bladder, stomach, and intestinal diseases because they contain vitamin B1, vitamin B2, and niyasine. These ingredients also work on moisturizing and guarding the intestines from weakness and infection.
- Kurma stabilize the acidity of the stomach because it is rich in alkaline salts, such as calcium and potassium salts.
- Kurma is a good source of iron, iron is a component of hemoglobin in red blood cells that determine the oxygen carrying capacity in the blood.
- Potassium contained in kurma can help control heart rate and blood pressure to provide protection against coronary heart and stroke.
- Potassium contained in kurma is very good for heart health, iron and B content Micronutrient complex to form red blood cells to prevent anemia.
There are still many benefits of kurma that I have not mentioned in the list above, and of course this becomes our field to always give thanks to the Creator that in our life, Allah has provided a lot of useful plants one of them is the fruit of kurma that can make us grow healthy and can continue to worship to Him, Hopefully, this article can remind, make us think, and contemplate God's creation so beneficial to the health of the human body.
