Removing sin by performing ablution
In Islam religion of a Muslim who will perform the prayer must be washed first, the way is by performing ablution. ablution is the way of a Muslim to be holy of small hadats and one of the conditions of the validity of prayer. and Allah Almighty will not oblige his creatures to do something just in vain, so also when obliging ablution, then there are wisdom and benefits to be gained by a servant. The following are the hadiths which mention the virtue of ablution:
1. From Humran former Uthman radhiyallahu'anhu slave. Humran said:
I heard Uthman ibn Affan radhiyallahu'anhu when he was in the yard of the mosque then came a mu'adzin by the time Ashar arrived. So Uthman asked to be taken ablution water, then he performed wudu. After that, he said, "By Allah, really I will tell you a hadith. If it was not for a verse in the Book of Allah I would not tell it to you. I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa Sallam said,' It is not a Muslim performing ablution and devoting his wudhu then doing the prayer but Allah will forgive his sins from then until the next prayer. '"(Narrated by Muslim in the Book of At-Thaharah)
The above hadith is clearly written that if a Muslim devotes his wudhunya and performs the prayer, then Allah will forgive his sins from then until the next prayer. in other words, if we always devote our wudu in every prayer 5 of our time then our sins during the day are also forgiven by Allah saw. Allahumma amin.
2. From Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu'anhu, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
"When a Muslim servant or a Muslim performs ablution, then he washes his face it will come out of his face with the water or with the last drop of water-all the mistakes he makes with the eyes of his eyes. When he washed his hands he would come out of his hands with the water or with the last drop of water-all the mistakes he made with his hands. When he washed his feet he would come out with water-or with the last drop of water-all the mistakes he made with his legs, until he would come out clean of the sins. "(Muslim in the Book of Thaharah )
The above hadith is almost the same as the first hadith, the difference in the second hadith of the Prophet Muhammad more detailing how a servant can be free from sin. ie every Muslim washes his face, hands, and legs when ablution will come out of him-or with the last drop of water-all the mistakes he did with those three washed limbs. Subhan Allah.
3. From Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu'anhu, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
"Will I show you something that could be the cause of God removing sins and elevating the degrees." Those friends, replied, "Of course want, O Messenger of Allah." So he replied, "That is to perfect ablution in an unpleasant condition, reproduce the steps to the mosque, and wait for the next prayer after the prayer, then that is the ribath. "(Muslim in the Book at-Thaharah)
an-Nawawi rahimahullah says, "What isbaghul wudhu means is to perfect it. As for the unfavorable conditions is a very piercing cold, the wounds that are in the body, and so forth. "(Syarh Muslim [3/41] cet Dar Ibn al-Haitsam).
4. From Uthman ibn Affan radhiyallahu'anhu, he said: Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
«من توضأ فأحسن الوضوء خرجت خطاياه من جسده حتى تخرج من تحت أظفاره».
"Whoever performs wudoo and wudhunya, there will be sins out of his body, until he will come out from under his nails." (Narrated by Muslim in the Book of At-Thaharah)
That is how a Muslim is free from sin by wudu, may be useful to all of us. Amen
